Clinical Responsibilities:

As a Dental Support Assistant with ConnextCare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up instruments for dental procedures, as well as preparing the examination room for patients. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on dental equipment, including the autoclave and developer. Additionally, you will take preliminary medical histories and vital signs to be reviewed by the dentist. You will work closely with the dentist and dental staff to improve productivity and efficiency, and participate in in-service workshops and quality assurance activities as required.

Requirements:

A. High school graduate (or equivalent) and minimum of two full years work experience
B. Demonstrate proper judgment and decision making skills when necessary
C. Comply with the organization's code of conduct, safety rules, and adhere to all company policies
D. Carry out job responsibilities in an ethical, effective, and professional manner
E. Must be willing and demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work, and communicate with coworkers and supervisors
F. Must demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record system
G. Must possess a willingness to accept direction from providers and supervisors; must possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations; must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with both patients and co-workers
H. Must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position

Salary Description:

$15.25-$17.75 Depending on Experience
