Job Title: Clinical Cardiologist - Advanced Heart Failure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Cardiologist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a specialist in Advanced Heart Failure, you will be part of a thriving heart failure program at our client's Department of Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure
* Collaborate with a dynamic team supporting an active ECMO program, LVAD program development, and comprehensive care for post-LVAD and cardiac transplantation patients
* Engage in groundbreaking clinical research and trials, including projects on gene expression profiling, heart failure quality improvement, and novel PA pressure monitoring devices

Team Overview:

Our advanced heart failure team comprises dedicated professionals, including heart failure faculty, RN coordinators, pharmacists, social workers, and nurse practitioners. We actively participate in cardiac amyloid and cardio-oncology programs, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive heart failure care.

Academic Affiliation:

As our client is affiliated with the University of Hawai'i, physicians joining our practice receive a faculty appointment suitable for their experience. This appointment involves direct supervision and mentorship of cardiology fellows in clinical and research settings.

Work Environment:

Our medical center comprises many beds and annually serves a substantial heart failure patient population. We extend our heart failure service to other affiliated hospitals.
