Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

This is a senior-level operations management position that plays a pivotal role in the overall success of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing schedules to ensure deadlines are met, and maintaining a high-quality standard of product production and delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of our company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Coordinate with different departments to achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and plans to improve financial performance.
  • Manage relationships with key operations vendors and work to build solid business relationships.
  • Track and report on operational performance.
  • Manage transportation/trucking relationships to ensure timely and efficient logistics.
  • Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts.
  • Oversee materials and inventory management.
  • Lead the development, implementation and review of operational policies and procedures.
  • Use performance management to improve team's capabilities and drive growth.
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  • Develop strategic plans for operational activity implementation and modification.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the industry's latest technology trends and advancements.
  • Manage and direct operations team to achieve business targets.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar industry, dealing specifically with asphalt, diesel, crude, oil & gas, trucking, transportation, or solar
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office management software and CRM.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and allocate resources effectively.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
