Job SummaryThe CV ICU Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CV ICU. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes and adhere to the Core Values of Piedmont Medical Center Nursing Service.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CV ICU
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes
- Adhere to the Core Values of Piedmont Medical Center Nursing Service
- Participate in the Shared Governance Model and adhere to the bylaws
- Adhere to Piedmont Medical Center Code of Conduct and ANA Standards for the Professional Nurse
To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside. A RN license from another Compact state requires application for and obtaining a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. One year of telemetry experience is preferred, and CCRN certification is also preferred.
