Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Vent Unit at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, including participating in unit operations and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Utilize basic computer skills and specialized equipment, such as Synquest, IV Pump, and Phillips Monitoring System, to support patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) and a license for Practical Nursing.
  • AHA CPR Certification and basic computer skills.
  • Experience with specialized equipment, such as Accucheck and EKG Machine.
