As a key member of our wellness team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive environment that encourages members to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Leadership: Develop and deliver high-energy group exercise classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and interests.
  • Member Support: Provide guidance and support to members in achieving their health and wellness objectives, while maintaining a working knowledge of the latest wellness trends.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with members, staff, and the broader community, promoting a sense of belonging and connection to the YMCA.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate attendance records and adhere to YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of members and staff.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Teaching Experience: Have knowledge and skill to teach at least two formats or advanced level training in a specific area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Possess multi-lingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse members.
