Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at CityVet - Flower Mound. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and operational productivity.
Responsibilities- Assist Veterinarians with patient preparation, monitoring, and restraint during exams and surgeries.
- Obtain and test samples, including stool, blood, and other specimens, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and guidance on animal care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the Client Service Specialist team to ensure seamless client interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
- Ability to safely restrain animals and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
