Our employees follow a rotating schedule over three weeks to ensure optimal service delivery.

Week 1: 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday.

Position Summary:

The role involves providing exceptional service to our banking clientele by executing transactions and addressing customer needs. You will also promote the bank's offerings while fostering strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include managing new account transactions, guiding customers in selecting suitable accounts and financial services, and effectively cross-selling the bank's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process deposits for checking and savings accounts, ensuring proper verification and issuing receipts.
  • Assess checks for validity and manage funds availability in accordance with regulations.
  • Facilitate withdrawals from savings and checking accounts.
  • Verify endorsements and identification for check cashing.
  • Detect counterfeit currency.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding account details, service fees, and interest rates while adhering to privacy policies.
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products and services.
  • Direct customers to appropriate departments for unresolved issues.
  • Manage loose coins and provide personal money orders and cashier's checks.
  • Handle loan payments, ensuring accuracy and issuing receipts.
  • Conduct currency transactions from the vault while adhering to cash limits.
  • Maintain an adequately stocked teller station.
  • Process county property tax payments.
  • Balance savings passbooks and close accounts upon request.
  • Follow procedures for managing dormant accounts.
  • Balance cash drawers daily.
  • Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Maintain accurate currency logs.
  • Assist with night depository tasks, including logging deposits and issuing receipts.
  • Support opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Help balance vault currency and coin.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage account activities and resolve issues.
  • Process stop payment and hold orders.
  • Deliver effective customer service and resolve issues within established authority.
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Compile data and generate various reports as required.
  • Maintain files and assist with document management.
  • Open new personal or business accounts, ensuring all documentation is accurately prepared.
  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
