Level Ahead ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (ABA Paraprofessional) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral intervention to clients in individual sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
- Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervisor to implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with best practices in ABA therapy.
- Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data for each session, utilizing our electronic data collection platform.
- Respond promptly to the needs and requests of clients and their families, maintaining open and effective communication.
- Establish and maintain active communication with clients, families, BCBA supervisors, and Level Ahead's administrative team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the field of ABA, with a strong foundation in behavioral intervention and support.
- Education or experience in education, special education, or mental health fields is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must hold RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT course provided by a certifying program.
- Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance is necessary, as travel is required.
- Must be punctual, professional, and able to implement direct intervention sessions independently, without daily supervision.
- Must demonstrate compassion and understanding towards clients with disabilities and their families.
- Proficiency with technology is essential.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds is required.
