Biology Professor

Bellevue University, a leading private, non-profit institution in Nebraska, seeks a full-time faculty member to fill the Assistant Professor - Biology position in the College of Science and Technology. This role requires a broadly trained and experienced biology professional and educator.

• Teach a broad spectrum of biology topics and courses, both in-class and online, with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Engage with students, provide constructive feedback, and develop curricula in online and classroom formats at the undergraduate level.
• Participate in program assessment, student research, student advising, and committee/community service.
• Select and manage adjunct instructors for assigned courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean or Assistant Dean.

• Ph.D. in Biology or related fields. A Master's degree in Biology combined with additional experience will be considered.
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the post-secondary level across a broad and diverse spectrum of biology topics and courses.
• A commitment to excellence in teaching and academic activities.

• This position is located in Bellevue, Nebraska, on the Bellevue University main campus.
