Relationship Banker

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Relationship Banker to join our team at M&T Bank. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and providing proactive sales solutions to meet their financial goals.

• Conduct customer assessments to identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial goals and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with internal business partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions to customers.
• Proactively reach out to customers to educate them on value-added products and services that meet their needs.
• Onboard new customers and establish trust through regular proactive outreach.
• Schedule and conduct sales appointments to discuss customer needs and provide solutions.
• Perform customer servicing interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls to ensure a safe and secure banking environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales, customer service, or telesales experience required.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and financial services product knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

• Notary public license.
• Bilingual based on branch needs.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Prolonged use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift light to heavy objects weighing 5-30 pounds.
• Ability to read fine print.
• Ability to interact with customers in an open face-to-face work environment.

M&T Bank offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to our employees. The pay range for this position is $30.95 per hour. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
