As an orthopedic specialist, you will work with patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, including non-operative and post-operative management of the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine and evaluate patient's physical therapy needs and develop a treatment plan with treatment goals directed towards maximizing function.
  • Consult with other members of the health care team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
  • Manage patient caseload assigned and participate in activities that directed towards increasing knowledge and skill and professional development.
  • Supervise aides and other support personnel as appropriate and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice physical therapy from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Must possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to manage a diverse patient population of varying diagnosis and case types.
