Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including offices, restrooms, and working areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, as outlined in the Janitorial Checklist.
  • Assist in maintaining cleaning and paper supply closet inventory to ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Perform exterior maintenance tasks, including cleaning the outside and front of the building, washing debris off sidewalks, and watering plants.
  • Stock restrooms with necessary supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, and air fresh refills.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including machines, overhead pipes, floors, offices, and canteens.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant management, including filling in for the part-time janitorial position as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Previous experience cleaning large facilities and offices.
  • Must have own reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Experience working in a non-climate-controlled environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work well with other people, as well as self-start and motivate while working independently.
  • Must possess and demonstrate good written and communication skills.
  • Must maintain adequate attendance, safety, and job performance according to company policies and standards.
