Job Overview

The Garage Shop LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Product Designer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned engineer with a background in mechanical design to develop complex systems and products. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software, 3D scanning technologies, and project scheduling principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new products, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 3D scanners to create accurate models and prototypes
  • Apply mathematical and logical skills to analyze complex systems and optimize their performance
  • Develop accurate and complete Bills of Materials
  • Prepare detail drawings for accurate fabrication and assembly
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Associates/Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software and 3D scanning technologies
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling and systems engineering principles
  • Familiarity with shop floor fabrication needs
