About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at Linxon Pvt Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of civil and structural engineering projects in the 34.5kV - 550kV range, including railway electrification and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide civil and structural engineering services during the proposal, design, and construction stages of projects.
  • Support proposal efforts by introducing innovation, cost-saving ideas, and value-added solutions to the overall system design concept.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations of existing equipment, steel structures, and foundations in brown field substation projects.
  • Validate construction sub-contractor bids and negotiate sub-contracts for electrical substations and switchyard projects.
  • Prepare and update civil and structural engineering schedules, emphasizing on-time delivery, quality of deliverables, and project costs.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineering certification is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in foundation, reinforced concrete, and steel design, or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Experience with outdoor and indoor GIS applications, including knowledge of building infrastructure to support GIS.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD and/or SAP2000, and CAD software like Autocad and/or Microstation.
  • Travel is required, up to 25% domestic and international.
