About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at ABA Centers of Texas. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement individualized behavior-analytic programs for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop targeted interventions.
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and caregivers to ensure high-quality implementation of behavior-analytic programs.
- Analyze and summarize results of assessments and graph results as needed.
- Write 6-month progress reports to secure insurance funding and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide staff and caregiver training to ensure effective implementation of behavior-analytic programs.
- Facilitate team meetings for clients and their families to ensure collaborative care.
- Develop and implement behavior deceleration plans to address challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- BCBA certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavior-analytic principles and practices.
