Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Add A Deck, Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate client project plans and vision into completed projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with our Lead Carpenter to oversee ongoing projects and ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage materials, schedule, and tools to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Install various components, including layout, foundations, framing, sheet rock, trim, roofing, and siding.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Work effectively with subcontractors, including electrical, masonry, plumbing, and other specialists.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of residential and commercial construction principles and practices.
  • Experience in the construction of decks, porches, and room additions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in the use of various power tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
