Position Summary:
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of compact construction machinery. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery components according to manufacturer specifications using various tools.
  • Rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and its components.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with management regarding customer needs.
  • Manage repair job costs and complete parts orders as necessary.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all equipment is in good condition.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Work overtime as required to meet workload demands.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; completion of a diesel technology program is a plus.
  • Possession of all necessary mechanic hand and pneumatic tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent movement and use of limbs; good manual dexterity and coordination are essential.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to mechanical parts and potential hazards.
  • May require working in varying weather conditions.
  • Noise levels may be high at times.
