Radiologic Technologist: Capital Region Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Capital Region Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing imaging services to patients while meeting departmental expectations.
Responsibilities- Provide imaging services to patients while meeting departmental expectations
- Articulate a precise understanding of how data flows in and out of modality work areas
- Be attentive to patient satisfaction results and collaborate with management teams on ways to improve the department and facility
- Demonstrate ability to meet and sustain departmental expectations while completing work assignments in an ethical manner
- Maintain integrity of equipment and adhere to radiation safety regulations and standards
- Assist the Medical Physicist in performing quality assurance testing as needed
- Interact with patients in a professional manner, following the AIDET principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Expectation, and Thank You)
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information is maintained
- Maintain current certifications and licensure status
- Participate in in-service education and outside educational programs
- Understand time clock expectations and adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines
- ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiography program graduates must obtain ARRT within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification
