Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled RN Healthcare Facility Surveyor to join our team. As a surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site surveys of healthcare facilities to assess compliance with Federal regulations.
- Prepare for surveys by reviewing facility records, conducting interviews with staff and families, and observing care practices.
- Evaluate the quality of care, treatment, and services provided by healthcare facilities.
- Communicate non-compliance issues with facility personnel and ensure understanding of deficiencies cited.
- Determine if facility plans of correction are acceptable and conduct follow-up visits to ensure implementation.
- Participate in facility and bureau training, and assist with work groups as needed.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve long-term care residents.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Ability to make independent decisions, set priorities, and travel up to 75% of the time.
