Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pantry Attendant to join our team at Casino Pauma. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of hors d'oeuvres, cutting and chopping ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bulk produce to specifications.
  • Prepare cold dishes, such as salads, cheese boards, and chilled soups, to specific guidelines.
  • Portion meats, vegetables, and other food items to proper weights or volumes.
  • Store ingredients to keep them fresh and reduce food wastage.
  • Check food plating, temperature, and portions for all cold dishes.
  • Monitor stock and place orders, as needed.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using authorized cleaning products.
  • Assist in training and supporting new employees.
  • Attend training and safety meetings as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience as a Pantry, Prep Cook, or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of food plating techniques.
  • Strong communication, time management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy items.
