Assistant, Associate or Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery
Job Summary:The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Kentucky is seeking a physician faculty member to teach students and residents of the Orthopaedic Primary Care Sports Medicine service, as well as provide care for the patients on this service.
Responsibilities:- Supervise medical students assigned to the Orthopaedic service
- Supervise and educate residents in the care of patients with Orthopaedic Primary Care Sports Medicine related diagnosis
- Establish protocols and critically evaluate outcomes as related to orthopaedic primary care sports medicine patients
- Serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees as assigned
- Medical Degree or Equivalent
- Demonstrated Ability in Clinical Teaching
- Completion of residency as well as specialty fellowship training in Ortho-Primary Care Sports Medicine
- Eligible for license to practice medicine in Kentucky
- Board Certified or eligible in Ortho-Primary Care Sports Medicine
- Demonstrated ability in clinical teaching
- Ability to share responsibility for administration of the Ortho Primary Care Sports Medicine program
