Job Overview:

Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, this role is accountable for overseeing the daily maintenance activities and personnel within the maintenance division.

This individual will collaborate effectively across all organizational levels to develop, implement, and sustain processes that enhance the plant's safety, quality, and production efficiency.

This position works closely with leadership team members to ensure timely repairs that support the plant's production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess issues to determine how mechanical and thermal devices can address specific challenges.

2. Utilize tools for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.

3. Design or modify mechanical and thermal devices or subsystems through analysis and computer-aided design.

4. Implement changes to various systems throughout the plant using P&ID diagrams.

5. Investigate equipment failures to diagnose operational faults and recommend solutions.

6. Apply root cause analysis and execute corrective actions to resolve issues.

7. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.

8. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet operational requirements.

9. Understand system designs and capabilities to optimize runtime and efficiency.

10. Recommend design modifications to prevent machine or system failures.

11. Drive process improvements for equipment and systems throughout the facility.

12. Supervise the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of machinery to ensure compliance with specifications.

13. Ensure the quality of repairs meets established standards.


14. Direct the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of renewable energy systems, including HVAC or water systems.

Lead teams in executing necessary repairs.

15. Apply engineering principles to emerging fields such as robotics, waste management, or biomedical engineering.

16. Focus on process improvements to reduce waste.

17. Analyze industrial processes to maximize equipment application efficiency, including equipment placement.

18. Establish or coordinate maintenance or safety protocols, service schedules, or material supplies required to maintain machinery in optimal condition. Train team members on new safety protocols and maintain the PM program for incoming work orders.

Job Type:
Full Time

Starting Salary: 65k - 80k.

Hours Per Week: 40+

Overtime:
Not applicable, this is a salaried exempt position.

Workweek:
Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm OR 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Shift:
Primarily day shift, with occasional needs to stay late or work weekends, typically once a month or as required by the company. No additional pay.

Payment Days:
Biweekly on Thursdays

Payment Type:
Direct Deposit

Rest Breaks:
As needed
