Job Summary:

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing radiologic and technical procedures, preparing patients for scans and treatments, and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiologic and technical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment and quality control programs to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation.
  • Provide support and training to colleagues, and assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 12 months of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a radiologic or diagnostic imaging department.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Allied Health accredited Radiology technology program.
  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification.
  • RHF (Radiology Fluoroscopy) certification.

Working Conditions:

  • Varied schedule, including short hours and variable days.
  • Every other weekend rotation.
  • Short hour employee status.
