Job Summary:

This Quality Inspector role is responsible for ensuring the quality of production materials and products. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect production materials and products for defects and quality issues
Remove defective items from production and document reasons for removal
Report quality issues to management and assist with corrective actions
Perform internal quality audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Assist with the maintenance of quality monitoring programs and controls
Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with potential hazards such as small or large projectiles, toxic gases/liquids, and other safety risks. The successful candidate must be able to work safely and effectively in this environment and wear personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements:

Post-secondary education in an appropriate field or a combination of education and experience
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and principles
1-2 years of electrical experience
Practical experience with risk management, product testing, and quality control
Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing are desirable
Highly motivated and self-directed with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
