Job Overview

Position Summary

City Walk Apartments is on the lookout for an Apartment Leasing Specialist to enhance our team at a premier apartment community. The ideal candidate will embody a collaborative spirit, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, customer service, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage prospects by enthusiastically presenting the various features of our community.
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual tours of the apartment community and model units.
  • Gather and process application materials from potential residents.
  • Manage social media promotions in line with apartment availability.
  • Assist new residents with move-in procedures, including reviewing essential documents and conducting final apartment inspections.
  • Perform daily data entry and manage email communications related to insurance, lease agreements, work orders, and billing.
  • Address and resolve inquiries from both prospects and current residents.

Required Knowledge

  • Administrative Skills — Familiarity with office procedures, including word processing, record management, and form design.
  • Technical Proficiency — Competence in commonly used software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Legal Awareness — Understanding of relevant Federal, State, and Local housing laws, including Fair Housing regulations.

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Customer Service Expertise — Knowledge of effective customer service principles, including assessing needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Active Listening — Ability to fully engage with residents and prospects, understanding their concerns and responding appropriately.
  • Analytical Thinking — Skill in evaluating various solutions and approaches to address resident and prospect issues.
  • Multitasking and Flexibility — Capacity to manage administrative tasks while balancing communication with residents and team members in a dynamic environment.

Compensation is based on experience and skill level, with opportunities for monthly commissions and bonuses in addition to base pay.
