Job Summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-NM).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably with Siemens equipment.
  • Experience with EPIC and NMIS hot lab systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work rotating day/weekend shifts, including occasional weekend shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens Ecams, Symbia, and/or Intevo SPECT/CT systems.
  • Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, and Tech Cert Verification - National.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and safety protocols.
