Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Engineer to join our team at Exponent. As a leading provider of engineering and scientific consulting services, we empower clients with solutions that create a safer, healthier, more sustainable world.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art research and testing, accident investigations, and analyses of product design, performance, compliance with regulations, and standards. Our multidisciplinary teams of experts are leading the future of vehicle engineering, and we want you to be a part of it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate machinery, equipment, and vehicle operator controls
  • Analyze structural crashworthiness, safety systems, electrical systems, and batteries
  • Examine engine, transmission, fuel, braking, and steering systems

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Postdoc in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
