Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-performance software systems from scratch in C++. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing maximally performant components of the blockchain, including the virtual machine, database, and consensus mechanism.

You will work closely with our team to research experimental improvements, understand the entire system, review PRs, and provide technical mentorship. We value your expertise and seek someone who can contribute significantly to our architecture and steering efforts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical lead role.
  • A proven track record of shipping products and working on challenging software projects where you had to write a lot of production-ready code.
  • Significant experience in C and C++ programming languages, with Rust being a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on coding abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with our team.
