About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Employer Benefits & Insurance Technology team at Lincoln Financial Group. Key Responsibilities
  • Owning and managing the full lifecycle of web applications, from analysis to testing and deployment.
  • Constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment, leveraging front-end frameworks and back-end frameworks.
  • Practicing and driving engineering practices such as DevOps, 12-factor design, and independent architecture.
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture to produce easy-to-understand architectural documentation of the InsurTech solution.
  • Assisting with security reviews by IT Security and collaborating with stakeholders to continuously incorporate business objectives into near-term deliverables.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in application development, with a focus on Java/Spring Boot development.
  • Front-end experience with Angular/React and Rest API development experience.
  • Moderate to senior database knowledge and strong communication skills to explain complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
