About the Role

The Lead Nurse is a key member of our nursing team, responsible for coordinating clinical operations and activities on their unit. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide direct patient care and facilitate workflow in the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical operations and activities on the nursing unit
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
  • Facilitate workflow and distribute workload assignments to team members
  • Maintain compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct yearly performance evaluations for CNAs on the unit
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • In compliance with the Department of Human Services, a criminal history check is required for this position upon hire
  • 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care

  • Supervisory experience
