Job Summary:
The Electrical Systems Specialist will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to industry standards and codes. This role will involve troubleshooting equipment and systems commonly found in industrial environments, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, utilizing technical expertise and analytical skills to resolve problems efficiently.
- Supervise and train Apprentice Electricians, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Develop and implement safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
- Operate power tools and equipment, including threaders, benders, tuggers, drills, and excavating equipment.
- Measure, calculate, bend, and thread metallic conduit, as well as pull wire and cable through raceways.
- Lift up to and in excess of 75 pounds, and climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds as required.
- Read, understand, sketch, and modify electrical schematics, and terminate circuit and control wiring.
- Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
- Hold a Journeyman or Electrical Contractor License with the Nebraska Electrical Board.
- Maintain a safe work environment, for yourself and those working with you.
- Hold a valid Driver's License.
- Have ownership and a sense of pride in your work, and those you oversee.
