Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technician I to join our team at Wencor Group. As a key member of our Materials / Logistics Team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping: Package completed units in accordance with ATA 300 and ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other specific methods back to the customer both domestic and internationally.
  • Inventory Control: Use job tickets to pull parts correctly from inventory and distribute to technicians, and return parts into inventory from technicians if not used.
  • Receiving: Inspect all incoming products for acceptability as directed in the Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual, and ensure files are maintained with copies of all documents received with incoming products.
  • Work Order Receiving: Open boxes and ensure all incoming Customer orders are inspected for damage and accuracy of Customer Repair Order, and generate Work order in ERP system by accurately transcribing Customer Instructions, RFR, Work scope, and Shipping/Billing information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years' equivalent work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
