About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Duty Free Sales Representative to join our team at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, promoting our products, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store
  • Follow all company policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention protocols
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Operate a cash register efficiently
  • Assist customers in selecting products and answer questions about the store
  • Be knowledgeable about surrounding businesses and offerings
  • Communicate pricing, inventory, and stock issues with management
  • Assist in maintaining store security and organization
  • Stock merchandise and inform management of out-of-stock situations
  • Help maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Assist with book inventory process, including ordering, receiving, and returns

Requirements

  • Luxury sales experience
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities
  • High degree of interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Age 21 or older, as required by law to sell alcohol and tobacco products
  • Prior experience operating a cash register
