Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Penn Highlands Clearfield. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the Siemens Somatom Perspective 64-slice CT scanner to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Place IVs and perform routine imaging procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current certification in CT scanning and radiologic technology.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • State license and National certification in radiologic technology.
  • NURSYS verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP).
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam.
  • Competency exam.
  • Government-issued photo ID and primary source online verification required.
  • Negative PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot test within 6 months of start.
  • Chest X-ray within 5 years of start (or exemption for candidates born prior to 1957).
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start.
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
  • 7-year criminal search within 1 year of start.
  • 2 professional references within 3 years of hire.
Work Schedule

The schedule for this position is 10-hour days, Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off. The workweek repeats every two weeks, with Saturday through Thursday work and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.
