Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing services to residents within an assigned unit, supporting medical care as directed by the medical staff.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure a high standard of care is provided to all residents.
- Perform daily nursing operations, including administering medications, providing treatments, and ensuring proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
- Observe and record changes in residents' conditions, reporting to supervisors and attending physicians as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, providing education to residents and families regarding care.
- Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing CNAs, assigning daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring safe work practices and proper infection control techniques.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program, ensuring follow-up and reporting as necessary.
- Nursing experience: 1 year (preferred)
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- RN licensure (required)
