About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Safety Engineer Intern to join our team at Koch Industries. As a Process Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and initiatives that focus on process safety, risk reduction, and engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain exposure to process safety elements, including MOC, PSSR, PHA, PSI, and incident investigations.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of process safety efforts for facility personnel.
  • Provide input and review of process safety risk reduction practices, projects, and effectiveness.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects requiring engineering expertise with a process safety focus.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
  • Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2026.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering-related degree program.
