Job Summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist to assist senior staff with the preparation and testing of complex cardiac diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exercise physiology and experience working in a cardiac or similar clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior staff with the preparation and testing of complex cardiac diagnostic procedures
  • Operate specialized cardiac monitoring equipment
  • Provide health screening, patient motivation, cardiac rehabilitation sessions, therapeutic treatment, and education for patients
  • Plan, coordinate, instruct, and monitor clinical weight management program services for small groups and individuals
  • Develop and implement individual weight loss plans and record-keeping processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science or the Biomedical field
  • Four to six (4-6) months' experience preferred in a cardiac or similar clinical setting
  • Mandatory Competency exam completion and pass
  • Current BLS-C required and Advanced Cardiac life Support Certification (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire
  • ACSM Certification as Clinical Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) preferred
