Certified Medication Aide Coordinator

The Certified Medication Aide coordinates and administers medication to nursing home residents, providing supervision and guidance to clinical staff members. This role requires a valid Medication Technician certification in the state employed and a valid CPR certification. One year of experience in nursing is preferred.
In this position, you will document resident conditions and nursing needs, accurately and promptly implement physicians' orders, and supervise junior staff members and CNAs. You will administer medications and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting treatment as required by company, local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Additionally, you will participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel, assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act, and ensure that supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
The salary for this position is estimated at $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and shift.
