**About Us**

A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) invites applications for a Medical Education Clinician on the Mesa, Arizona campus. As a respected institution in medical education, we seek a dedicated professional to contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of our curriculum. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to deliver clinical education to medical students, fostering a culturally rich environment that values and appreciates diversity.

**Job Overview**

This is an hourly position with an expected contribution averaging approximately 50 hours per year, depending on the number of activities executed. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background, with a DO or MD degree, and experience in curriculum delivery at the GME and/or UME level. A broad knowledge and experience in medical education, along with a willingness to adopt innovative classroom instruction, are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Deliver curriculum in the classroom, simulation center, medical skills program, and small group learning settings

- Facilitate Case-based Inquiry (IQ) Group discussions

- Assist with standardized patient program and medical simulation events

- Participate in faculty development and training related to assigned tasks

- Other duties as assigned by Chair or Deans of Clinical Education, in keeping with the mission of the school

**Essential Qualifications**

- DO or MD degree

- Skill requirements obtained as part of Specialty Board Certification

- Medical License

- 3 to 5 years' experience in medical education

- Broad knowledge and experience in medical education at the GME and/or UME level

- Curriculum delivery knowledge and experience with a willingness to adopt innovative classroom instruction

**Compensation**

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000, considering the location and industry standards. Please note that this is an hourly position, and the actual compensation will be based on the number of hours worked.
