Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Neuroscience Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and treatment services for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume the duties and responsibilities of a psychologist as prescribed by training and standards, and delineated by the medical staff appointment.
- Function as a clinician in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and adjustment disorders, and psychological adaptation of patients and their families to neurological illnesses.
- Conduct psychological evaluations and treatment, and interpret findings to patients, families, and referring physicians and agencies within HIPAA guidelines.
- Complete written reports and psychotherapy notes in a timely fashion.
- Serve as an interdisciplinary team member, reviewing other providers' notes and communicating with them to optimize care and coordination.
- Contribute to the development of new programs, participate in grant proposals, and conduct research.
- Present periodic in-service to staff, and teach/supervise medical residents, psychology interns/externs, practicum students, and other students.
- Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in psychology or related field.
- Appointed to the medical staff.
- New Jersey Psychologist License.
