Support Staff Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Staff Specialist to join our team at ACLD. As a Support Staff Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and increasing their independence.
In this position, you will:
- Work collaboratively with residents to develop and implement personalized support plans
- Provide emotional support and structure to help residents overcome daily challenges
- Assist with resolving behavioral issues and promoting positive relationships
- Help residents maintain their personal hygiene and overall well-being
- Document resident progress and achievements accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Clean NYS Driver's license required for transportation duties
- High School diploma or equivalent; some experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred
- Must obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications within six months of hire
Salary: $26/hour (26 hours/week)
Schedule: Fri 12am-10am, Sat/Sun 12am-8am
