Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
- Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or compact state required.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications as needed.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
