Junior Systems Business Analyst
Location: Washington, DC / Capitol Hill (On-Site)
Full-time, long-term temporary assignment: 12 months with 3 option years (4 years+)
US Citizenship required.
Must pass a background check.

Overview: Woodside Staffing Solutions & Consulting is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Business Analyst with 0-2 years of experience. A degree in business administration, finance, or data analytics is essential, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including vLookup and database management.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or data analytics
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel / vLookup
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement established protocols for system evaluation.
  • Assess current systems and propose enhancements.
  • Make informed business decisions by selecting suitable methods from a range of procedures or adapting existing guidelines.
  • Accurately enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Analyze workflows and suggest improvements to senior management.
  • Effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
General Requirements:
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively or independently.
  • Familiarity with the legislative environment is advantageous.
  • Business casual attire is expected.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance).
  • Outstanding customer service skills, particularly in interactions with high-profile clients.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
