IT Systems Engineer Leader

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage physical and virtual infrastructure using Dell servers, NetApp storage arrays, Client clusters, and VMware vSphere
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and hardware and software components patching
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high infrastructure availability and performance
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of systems to improve efficiency and reduce latency
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including hardware failures, network problems, and virtualization issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding infrastructure status, issues, and resolutions
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Infrastructure Specialist with a strong background in system administration and infrastructure management. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
