Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our customers.

• Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of cooks and other kitchen associates to ensure all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met.
• Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
• Inventory Management: Track food use, waste, and consumption to requisition or purchase product, and receive and inspect product and supplies for quality and quantity.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, and ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
• Menu Development: Help select and develop recipes and menus to meet customer preferences and dietary needs.

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
