Ultrasound Sonographer

Nuvance Health Med Practice PC seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This per diem opportunity offers flexibility and variety, working 8-hour shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

In this key position, you will apply sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care. You will perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures, exercising professional judgment and maintaining a demeanor that upholds medical ethics.

• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in areas such as OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities, and vascular procedures, demonstrating anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by licensed practitioners.
• Provide appropriate patient care, recognizing essential conditions for successful procedure completion and exercising professional judgment in performance of services.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Graduate degree from an A.M.A approved school of Sonography (RDMS or ARRT-S) with a preference for RDMS. Unregistered sonographers must register within one year of hire date.

This per diem opportunity comes with a competitive salary range of $31,250 - $58,050.
