Job Summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Edmond, OK. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the sterile field and ensure the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the procedure being performed.
  • Ensure quality patient care and take responsibility for ensuring patient safety during the operative procedure.
  • Check supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures and set up the sterile table with instruments, supplies, and medications/solutions.
  • Perform appropriate counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
  • Assist in draping the sterile field and pass instruments, sharps, and other equipment to the surgeon during the procedure.
  • Ensure proper disposition of surgical specimens and cultures.
Requirements
  • Graduate certificate from an accredited surgical technology program within 60 days of hire or 6 months experience as a surgical technologist.
  • BCLS certification within 120 days of employment.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
