Job Summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Route Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products at various locations, primarily within a specific geographic territory, and complete tasks within the designated shift.
  • Delivery and Customer Service: Deliver products such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods to customers, while providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of daily sales and delivery information, obtain customer signatures upon pickup and delivery, and comply with company policies and D.O.T. regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, including working with the demands of the department, which may include overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred, with at least one year of tractor trailer/route delivery experience.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must have a valid CDL for tractor trailer operation and a good driving record for the past 39 months.
  • Availability: Must be available to work with the demands of the department, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Regularly stand and walk while performing duties.
  • Reaching and Handling: Regularly reach with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting and Moving: Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Visual Requirements
  • Closeness and Depth Perception: Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
