About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies. You will lead a team of software developers in designing, developing, and deploying secure software solutions that meet the stringent requirements of the US Air Force. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing and maintaining a robust CI/CD pipeline, ensuring compliance with Platform One Continuous ATO process, and providing technical direction to software developers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Supervise a Team of Software Developers: Guide and mentor a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the US Air Force.
  • Implement and Maintain a Robust CI/CD Pipeline: Design, develop, and maintain a continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline that ensures seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Ensure Compliance with Security Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Platform One Continuous ATO process and implement security best practices.
  • Provide Technical Direction: Provide technical guidance and direction to software developers on software design, development, and testing.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train software developers on Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: 12+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • DevSecOps Experience: Proven experience in implementing and maintaining DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and security best practices.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in leading and supervising teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Security Clearances: Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance within 90 days of start date.
